LeFebre shouldn't have any problem in that area.

Luke Clausen wants to fish the Elites, also. Trying to qualify through the Opens. He is going to try to fish both tours, though.

Avena isn't well known yet, but IMHO I think he's one of the greatest new talents. he's taking tournament prep and execution to a new level.

A lot of those guys fish the opens...and if they qualify I guarantee they would jump on the elite side in a hurry. Ish does both and so did stacy king, always gonna make room for new talent to come up.

I don't get it. A couple weeks ago there was a post on here that only something like 20% of Elite Pro's made entry fee + expense money back in 2015. Now new guys are looking to get in.

I bet the percentage is worse in FLW. Elites = smaller field, more tournaments, more coverage. The sponsorship dollars going to Elite guys is probably quite a bit better than FLW guys. That's just a guess though, based on the notoriety and prestige of the Elite series.

Avena has what it takes to do well on the Elites. Lefebre is also a great all around angler

Less FLW tournaments makes it tougher to stay there. Sponsors get better exposure at BASS.

The article on Bassfan is a really good one and Dave talks bout why he wants to switch. Just cause the guys didn't make money this year doesn't mean they still didn't get paid though
