Headed there this weekend. Anyone fished the lake/river lately? Reports of any kind?

Very little fishing pressure. More hunters than fisherman this time of year but the fishing is typically good. Always fish biting around the forks of the rivers and the sloughs close by

This won't help you but that's a place that's towards the top my list of places to fish. Not the lake but all the sloughs and backwater. I'm a little scared of taking a fiberglass bass boat there. Looks like a place for an Aluminum boat.

No problems launching a glass boat at the 63 bridge and running south to the forks.

Teal Season ended this last weekend. You don't have to worry about hunters until November. No problem launching at Bevilport and running down to the Forks. Don't be upset if you see some flat bottoms down there that can pass ya. clap

that's definitely one of the reasons I like fishing there. It's a beautiful area to fish/camp too.
