Been a while since I have been on good ole' Athens. Im heading out at 4:00am and fishing all day.
Pointers would be appreciated, not looking for hot spots or honey holes just a point of direction. Deep? Shallow?
Thanks!

Throw a weightless senko up in the shallow water. I was pitching it in every bit of pepper grass I could find and slowly twitching it back to the boat. On the other end of the lake from the ramp there is a cove that is filled with nothing but lily pads and of course hit that up with a frog. Other than that I can say stay shallow because I didn't catch a sink he fish past 6' of water

Well today was good. Morning we had plenty of frog bites and my cousin hooked a 4.5lb throwing a t-rig in grass (biffle bug). Late morning we didn't have a fish for about 3 hours, started chasing schools around the dam and ended up with about 40 fish in 2 hours just chasing schools. Nothing under 2lbs. Thank you guys for the tips again. Also saw the biggest freshwater fish of my life, massive carp. Good eatin! (Jk)
