I have narrowed down my rod selection to dobyns fury and omen black or green what is better rod of the two

Depends on what kind of tip and bend you want in your rod. Dobyns have a more flexible tip and a deeper flex overall than the omens. The power ratings on the dobyns are lighter than the omens so a heavy fury will feel more like a medium heavy omen. Furys are more balanced and lighter than their comparable omens IMO. I have had an issue with line fray on my fury, but the crew at Dobyns is taking care of it. As long as the issue is resolved when I get my replacement, i will be purchasing more furys.
