I was wanting to know which you prefer.I have always used Grande Bass baby rattlesnakes for Carolina rigging but they are getting hard to find and about half I find now are bent up in middle or closer to tail.
Thanks,

4.75" rattle snake is probably my go to bait period for a Texas or c-rig

I like the snake-O better than the rattlesnake. We always have one of those tied on in some fashion.
Hey--we finally caught one! dwjimages.smugmug.com

I use Hag's Tornado, because it is much easier to get, up here, anyway. Hope this helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

They are pretty much the same bait to me. Check out the Lake Fork Tackle ring fry as well- I like that both sides are symmetrical because if one end gets torn up I can just rig it backwards.

2111-15: Try putting the bent ones in boiling water for a minute or two and then lay them out straight. They'll be OK when they cool.

C'mon Man...... Have you ever seen a completely straight "real" worm? A little bend here or there won't hurt a thing. Real worms curl up all the time

The new Airtail Rattler is a great bait on the C-Rig no doubt. But since this post is speaking of the Rattlesnake vs. the Tornado....just run with what got you here. Don't let me sway you by mentioning that GrandeBass has more total baits per package per size in comparison. Some sizes we offer almost 2:1 over the competition. That's putting money back in your pocket and makes the wife happy. Now get out there and catch some fish in this awesome weather we are having. Tight lines
Oh....did I mention that the new Airtails will start showing up in Academy next week? ;-)
