I was at my local pond for the first time since all the rain because the water level has finally Receded. I found this vegetation and I have no idea what it is anyone know what it is.

If it helps it's about the consistency of jello

I'm thinking it might be some kind of aquatic plant such as a water lily. When the water receded, the leaf could not remain in the water so it is now in the decaying stage.

The Bryozoa, also known as Polyzoa, Ectoprocta or commonly as moss animals, are a phylum of aquatic invertebrate animals.
