Anyone find them? I sure didnt. Father in Law was throwing poppers around 10am in around 12' and caught a few dinks.

Caught dozens of dinks today on ultralight gear in and around 12' as well. Nothing over a pound though. It will be exciting on Lew when these fish grow up a little bit.

Been catching quite a few. Most small. A few up to 5lbs mixed in.

Do you guys mind sharing what kind of structure/cover you are finding them on, and what area of the lake (no specifics, north, south, etc)?

I fished the south end a few days ago, the mid lake areas sunday, and plan on trying up north tomorrow.

My pattern the other day was boat ramps. I ran them all over the lake with shakey heads and caught fish. Nothing over 3 lbs, but caught around 20.

Is there even a full time bass guide on lewisville? I saw a guy at bass pro grapevine once and believe would guide there and grapevine. Can't remember the name but want to say it was a good Irish name. What little I know would be the tire reefs and boat slips (with brushpiles) close to creeks road bed, points or gullies that have deep water close by ( usually the old creek) Simple as narrow long rocky point that has deep water off it hopefully it being a creek and a channel bend. The dam where the old creek channel hits it. The causeway for I 35. The old dam. I would bet the bigger fish are deeper on the structure you caught the dinks. Just have to find the sweet spot.
