Going to be doing a lot of ledge fishing next weekend. When will yall throw a football jig vs a swing head? Having 3 rods setup what would yall rig up? Football jig, swing head, Texas rig, Carolina rig. I was thinking texas rig, c rig, and not sure about the 3rd.would rather catch more fish than quality

Swing head with a pit boss or the havoc lizard... F-poon or blade to rip and fall... And a deep crank long lined as needed... Bust it up peep

I just bought some swing heads and Biffle Bugs. I've seen the videos how some fish it... almost like a crank bait but I'd prefer to fish it just pitching to cover. Of course the fishing out west is terrible now ... just can't get a bite, so I'm not learning a thing about what might work with the swing head.

I'd like to hear any success stories about how you've used this method.

Thanks!

I fish it just like a football jig, works well. I don't crawl it like a slow crank-bait. Need to try that.
