Went to Monti Wed evening and the north end of Monti had dead baitfish everywhere you looked on the surface. EVERYWHERE. Anybody know anything about this?

It happens every summer when the water temps on the main lake get to 105+....a buddy told me the temps at the RR bridge were 102 a couple of weeks ago so I figured the annual shad kill wasn't far behind.

SOP for Monticello in the summer. With them generating in the summer those temps cause stress to the shad. Thousands dead? Good news is there are millions.
