I'm headed to Athens for the first time tomorrow. I'll have my youngest nephew with me & want to do my best to keep him interested on a long, hot summer day. A buddy of mine has given me some good areas to key in on. Anybody been out there recently with some luck and would like to share some general patterns we should be working? Thanks in advance, y'all.

Can't go wrong tossing s frog in the grass usually. Any of the deeper brush piles will have plenty of fish. Last I heard there where also groups of smaller fish schooling in some areas.

Yellow magic early. Topwater bite lasts 1-1.5 hours then goes away!!

Fishing is not a matter of life or death,
it's much more important than that!

Talked to a guy who said fish were schooling early between ramp and bridge. I been catching a few on white weightless flukes.
