Has the lake settled? Is it worth the 3 hour drive to bass fish?

The lake looks pretty good. A cleaner than I figured it would.
The fishing is non existent unless you want to catch catfish

Did the bass die during the algae bloom?

I can't imagine they all died. I have a good friend that has a house out there and he did see quite a few big bass dead. But mostly it was rough fish.
All if these lakes that catch any amount of water around here are tough right now.
The bite at Hubbard Creek and PK is almost non existent too and I know those lakes didn't have a due off.
