Alright, first, I purchased a couple of 13 Envy Black Casting rods, pretty good rod for the money, love the sensitivity and they are light weight but man are they brittle. I broke 3 of 7'3" MH on fish, one boat flip and 2 on hooksets, one on a 2 pounder the other on a 6 pounder. Tacklewarehouse was kind enough to take my last one back (had it longer than 10 mos) and deal with the company as I wanted to switch to another rod.

However, the Dobyns I wanted (more durable in my opinion) is out of stock and TW does not know when they will have it. So I am wondering what rods compare well to the Dobyns Champion MH 733 I listed above. Price and Quality. I may just wait for the rod, or I may spend more and get the Dobyns Champ Extreme.

No worries, it could be the hookset, line or drag too tight, they have handled big fish for me but looking to swap them out to avoid any further frustration.

the 703 will be close and so will the 734. I like the Extreme 743 myself but it is more money. The 734 is a good T-rig rod and little more back bone for setting the hook on your weightless lures.

My favorite Texas Rig rod is my Dobyns 734. I have a 733 and 736. The 734 for me hands down for worm fishing.

Couldn't go wrong by stepping up to the Extreme. For my money, I would not go duckett. I own 4, and while they're ok for moving baits, they feel dead in my heads for any soft plastic bite.

I've really liked this rod for t-rig and lighter c-rigs. Kistler 7'3'' MH If you wanted to, you could step up to the Helium.

Should have read further to see that you got the 734c. Great rod.
