A post on here earlier got me to thinking. I tend to want the biggest hook I can get away with no matter the bait I am using. As long as it will not affect bait action or is inappropriate for conditions and cover I honestly feel like I lose less fish on bigger hooks in general. I realize some finesse stuff you gotta go small but all in all I want the biggest I can get.

I noticed even on hollow belly frogs it seems a 6/0 hook is stickier than smaller hooks in terms of landing ratio.

I'm with you on this one for the most part. Only thing I go really tiny on is dropshot hooks.

I'm with you too. Only on a drop shot do I go small.
