I talked with Don Barone a few days ago and he asked me to get the word out on the TFF that Tackle The Storm plans to take care of everybody who's lost their fishing equipment due to the recent Texas floods.

Don said they will work with local Bass fishing clubs, local authorities and local anglers to identify those in need of fishing rods and reels, fishing tackle, those who have lost all their stuff and they will replace it.

They will give adults new spinning or bait casting rods, children will get new combos, they will get whatever they need to get back on the water.

What he's asking of the members of the Texas Fishing Forum is to be the eyes and ears, if you hear of a child or adult who lost their fishing gear to the floods keep track of their names, keep track of how to get a hold of them, and Tackle The Storm will replace their gear.

Don is a great guy and Tackle The Storm has provided fishing equipment for lots of people in need lets help them to get our fellow Texas fishermen back on the water!!!

More info will follow as soon as the waters recede but in the mean time please start thinking of who you know that may need help.
