Which of the new rigs, has the biggest and widest front fishing deck? Looks like the Nitro Z9 that Bill Wilcox uses on Honey Hole is sure big but, I haven't seen or fished in any of the newer ones (with the exception of a Phoenix). Guess this is just an opinion question but, curious to get ya'll's input. Thanks God Bless

Skeeter, nitro and Rangers have wide front decks. Don't know the exact measurements though. I'm sure there is another wider.
I hate photobucket.

I don't know about measurements but my ZX250 has enough front deck that you might fall down but you won't fall out.

I know when the Legend V 20 first came out it was the largest overall front deck on the market...was both the longest and widest and according to their website was 52.8 sq feet. Not sure if any other companies have come out with one larger since them.

This is by far the single largest factor when I choose a bass boat. (Front deck space) I am a big guy and I have fished out of them all, but my 09 I class Skeeter is like fishing off the deck of an aircraft carrier. There are other qualities that a Skeeter boat may lack compared to some of the others, but deck space and relationship to the water level is not one of them. Skeeter gets an A+ from me when it comes to this.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

Size doesn't mean anything without stability.
I know Perry's Z520 has about the biggest/most stable deck I have ever seen on a boat, like an aircraft carrier...
Long and narrow doesn't mean anything to me if I can step to the gunnel and throw the guy in the back overboard.

Skeeter and Ranger by far have the most stable fishing platform IMO. Triton and Legend are about the worst that I've experienced as far as side to side movement when standing near the gunnel. Probably wont matter much either way if you only weigh 180 lbs.

Agreed. Am finding out that some set rather 'low' in the water, some more stable and then there are those that tout more storage. It's confusing. Thanks for your input.... God Bless Size doesn't mean anything without stability.

Did all the measurements on another site. Z9, Z520, Gambler, and V20 were the leaders for deck space only.

Lee I don't know about other brands but my Ranger Z520C has an overall beam width of 96 1/2 inches. Plenty wide and plenty stable. Ranger may not be the fastest, or ride the best but when you drop the trolling motor nothing outfishes a Ranger.

Probably wont matter much either way if you only weigh 180 lbs. Lol I saw a couple fellers in 2011-2014 tritons tied up next to each other one afternoon at a media tournament every time one of them guys moved around that whole boat rocked..... I'm not sure if my a letter has ever moved side to side while me and my partner are fishing. Very stable the Rangers high gunnel bothers me but they like skeeter are the most stable boats I have been in.

Z21-z9, Ranger 52, charger 797 and the Legend I'd say are pretty close, enough too to throw a BBQ on those rigs. Gmblers are huge too but they're kind of unique compared to most boats.
