Bridgeport is catching some good water. It may make a dent.

Need the river running hard to put a dent when it's 23 ft low. Sure hope it makes a difference though.

Where does the rain that fell in Bowie go?

Eagle Mountain has come up six feet since February. It's a little less than 5 feet low now and both the lake itself and the area above it are getting pounded with heavy rain again tonight. With the creeks already flowing and the soil wet from previous rains, hopefully it will come up a lot more.

I have no idea why Bridgeport is so slow to rise. Lakes all around it, from around Wichita Falls to the other DFW area lakes, have come up feet while Bridgeport has risen inches.

Looks like it has come up close to 2 feet or at least a foot and a half overnight. I hope it keeps coming.

No it's called straight out of there mouths, whatever Bridgeport gets fills EM before it keeps water. Tell them to stop watering there yards and put rock in.

Keep them boats running and tight lines.
Thanks mike

goose, depending on where in bowie, some will flow to amon carter, but its well over full pool now. Will be interesting to see how much Bport rises by the time Monday rolls around. Run-off from these rains plus the weekend storms that are coming will surely bring it up more. I heard they opened the ramp at the dam. Anyone confirm this?

Good Lord went over to eat with the gang in Bport town and I seen water standing in a creek/river between Decatur and Bport(old timer said it was " Big Sandy") where I come from we call that size body of water a lake,,,I guess it goes onto EM?Hopefully Bport can catch some more.
