Late last year on this forum Steve Hummert gave away a fishing trip with Skeeter Fowler to a vet that didn't have a boat

. I won that trip. Me and my 21 yr. old son was scheduled to go Friday the 15th. Skeeter asked if we wanted to change the date due to the Legends starting that day. I told him that we could go ahead and go. I'm so glad we did. Steve and Skeeter it was GREAT!!! It was like fishing with an old friend. We caught a bunch of fish. My son had caught one little 9 or 10 inch pond bass before yesterday. He caught a 5 lb'er on a frog. The smile was huge. We caught several on frogs and flukes in the morning. Skeeter got a 6 1/2. After lunch we went down by the dam and found a ton of fish. Sand bass and LMB both. Skeeter said it was the most LMB he had ever marked in one spot. I caught a 4 lb'er and a sand bass on an Alabama rig at the same time. I also caught 3, 2 lb. sand bass at the same time. It was wild. We brought home 25 big sand bass. Fish fry tonight. Like I said it was really a great day. My son has really got the fishing fever now. He told me he likes fishing a lot better than hunting and he wants to buy himself a boat. I think we have ourselves a new bass fisherman. The day was something we will both remember forever. Thank you so very much. One day I hope to meet you face to face so I can shake your hand. Thank you for what you do for our vets. This is a copy of the PM I sent Steve. If anybody wants to fish Fork with a guide give Skeeter a call. He is GREAT. Sorry for the sideways pictures. I don't know how to fix it.

Before Friday my son didn't know you could fish with a frog. He sure knows now.
