My son is graduating HS and I am planning to take him fishing for a few days the second week of June. I haven't been to Fork in years and haven't fished it that time of year. Can anyone provide some input on how well it usually fishes in early- mid June?he hasn't had a chance to fish much and doesn't have much experience with bass. I know some lakes here is South Texas where I can get him on decent numbers but Fork offers the chance at a trophy. What I don't know is what kind of numbers to maybe expect.
Anyways I'd appreciate any input. I might consider getting a guide for the first 1/2 or full day. Thanks

June 11-14th is the Skeeter Owners Tournament. If you own a Skeeter it's a great event if you decide to fish in it and I guarantee you and your son will have memory of a lifetime. If you don't own a Skeeter... I highly recommend you choose a different weekend June is a great time to fish Fork! Good Luck.

That's my favorite time to fish Fork. Look for bass in 15'-30' on points, roads, ridges & pond dams with c-rigs, jigs, swimbaits, deep cranks & spoons. Good luck!

6" to 30' will be in play. Wide open fishing. Great time to be out there. From topwaters to deep cranking to shallow water flipping it all will work.

Looks like we would be there Sunday June 7 to Wed 10th. Will it be crowded already by then?

With new lake levels. You should be able to catch them in all depths.
