I was in the Lewisville Gander Mountain today and noticed that they had what looked to be their entire stock of Rapalas - balsa originals, Fat Raps, Scatter Raps, Husky Jerks, etc. - all marked down to $6.99 each, regardless of size.

I found some older looking dt10s at the Beaumont academy yesterday, of course they had no price on the peg so I went and scanned them and they rang up 98 cents. Bought them all.

. . .that's not really a deal at all. If you're paying more than $7 or $8 for Rapala baits, you're getting ripped off. I saw some of those terrible scatter raps on a peg at Academy marked $11. . .I just laughed and kept walking.

They're usually $9.99 at Gander Mountain. I don't know about Scatter Raps, etc, but the original #11 balsa Rapala remains one of my 'go-to' baits.
