Use the main marina ramp outside of whitehouse off of 346
Fish a brush hog between the bank grass and boat houses ...

Water temp was 71 early this morning rising to 75 by afternoon. Early morning bite was great when cloudy then sun came out and bite shut down. It only took 13 and some change to win the JC outdoor tournament with some not even getting a limit. I did good earlier in the week swimming a fluke in grass but not today.

Flip the grass around spawning areas. The fish are still there. They are buried in the grass!

Yep there are still some shallow. Fished JC tournament Saturday it started at 6:15 and we had a limit by 7:00 and culled a few but once the sun came up good fishing got real tough.

Michael the lake goes off limits for 2 weeks starting tonight at midnight. You will be able to get on the water the 15th. Which is the official practice day. Just a heads up to All HS anglers planning on fishing the Championship in 2 weeks.

Yep it will be a crowded day the 16th with a whole lot of pressure. I will be there real early just so I won't have to park a mile away and walk back to the ramp. Good luck to all of you High School Teams fishing this just don't look for any big stringers because Tyler hasn't been putting any of those out in a while. You will be very lucky to see 15+ lbs. They are there but you can't find them like you could before they sprayed all of the wonderful HYDRILLA we once had.

Throw frogs. Shore grass+hollow body frog is the way to go out there right now. Only gonna get better within the next couple weeks.

tyler banks are covered with carp right now. had REAL good success with weightless or 1/32 weighted flukes... throw in grass and as you jerk it out slowly they hit about a foot and half or so off the grass line.

That was most successful, but also had luck on spinner baits and some swim jigs
