Anyone ever fish this lake? Going Sunday for a little trip with my dad! Any suggestions on what maybe where to start or what to try would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Fished this lake many times with my late father-in-law but for crappie and catfish. However, we would catch a few bass w/minnows crappie fishing. Always wanted to bass fish it but sometimes you got to humor the old guy. If you go, I would suggest the turkey creek area, if the water is not too muddy. They have had a lot of rain recently and that area is just off the main river in the north end. Look at a map and you will see a couple of coves on both sides of the river between the turkey creek ramp and the main lake. I never got to fish the lower end of the lake so can't be much help. When we fished there, always saw a lot of blow-ups of bass chasing shad there. Good luck, it's a neat lake to fish.

Thanks, I will give that a shot! Have heard of a lot of decent fish caught from there in years past, hopefully we can catch a few!
