Been a few years since I ordered a Curado. Figured I would give Ole Green a try again. How's everyone liking them?

Companies don't come out with a new and improved product to sell it cheaper. New model feels cheap to me. The new Chronarch feels like the E series Curado.

I like mine. I have the Curado G5. But I recently bought a couple of Lew's and I like them better. They are both good in my opinion.

Everybody I've talked to hates them compared to the E's.

I have a few of the white Chronarchs and really like them. If I don't like the Curado, it may become a dedicated wife reel.

The G series feel very "cheep" IMO. If you must buy Shimano, get the Chronarch. But if you want a waaaaaaaay better reel for the same amount of money, get the Lew's Tourney Pro!

They cast just as far as the E's. But my Lews will outcast them by 30-40 feet.

My supertuned citica e reels outcast and outperform my stock chronarch e reel. As for lews reels, I don't care for pure fishing made reels.

I have one and its a decent reel. It sure isnt anywhere near the last line of curado, however. The one I have, I used a couple months and already feels worn out.

I have one and like it fine. Its not my Chronarchs but I wouldn't call it junk.
