Anyone care to help a guy with some info on Amistad right now? I've never fished it while it is this low and it's like a whole new lake. Haven't been here in over a year and me and my dad have today and tomorrow to fish. Went out this morning and got skunked... Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Go up the Devils river and throw a Strike King deep diving crankbait 10-15' off points and along the rocky bluffs.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

Off topic a little but what a beautiful place to get skunked, huh?

It definitely is nice out right now. Might be part of the problem! Lol. Need a little bit of wind or something. I haven't found any grass yet. I'm wondering if there are any areas of the lake with grass and some trees in it. Seems like all that's out there is rocks, rocks, and more rocks.

No trees on the land = no trees in the lake.
