Looking for a quick rub or marinade that will work for both pork and beef.
Decided i'd try both tomorrow...

adams or ol' podner is my favorites. salt and pepper is hard to beat. wrap with a stick of butter after about 3 hrs at 275, cook until desired tenderness. usually about 2-3 hrs

I dont like any or very much sugar in a beef rub. Salt and pepper is good. Adams house seasoning is good if you like garlic. Salt lick rub is good.

Pork ribs, theres a lot of good rubs. I like Adams sweet pork and Memphis style.

Canadian steak seasoning only on beef. Optional add brown sugar on pork.

Coarse salt and pepper
Granulated Garlic
Granulated Onion
Paprika

spritz ribs with apple cider vinegar or apple juice on the hour.

Slather ribs with thinned mixture of your favorite sauce the last 30 minutes. Make sure thinned mixture is warm. You can thin with water or apple juice.

I like to have the gas grill hot and place the ribs in for just a few minutes to set the sauce, then let them rest.
