Yep..it's pretty cool out now and need some of you that have an Old Smokey #22 to chime in on cooking in Cold Weather !! Let's say the Sun is shining and little to no wind. How cold was it when you cooked something? Did it prolong cooking time? Was it hard to maintain temps? I'm getting mine ready. The wife bought the wrong thermometer the other day but I didn't tell her. I have a digital thermometer from way back and it's still works great.Shows meat temp and oven temp, a timer etc!! I want to mount one in the side of the top section soon. Any tips will be appreciated.

Never had any issues smoking meat in cooler temperatures.

Lots of BBQ cook off in Jan-Feb cooked in some cold wet weather before just have to watch your temp.

BBQ season is year round, the only thing that might bother you will be the wind!! Never had an issue with cold weather.
