Mix cream cheese and shredded cheese, fill in tha hollow part of the pepper. Add a little smokey. Wrap with bacon. Put on the grill till bacon is done. These are simple and the taste great Enjoy

I had to read the title twice. When you mentioned Buffalo Turds, I thought my wife had started cooking again. We had to get a restraining order on her kitchen actions. After I get through building this ark, I am going to try some of these. I sure hate paying $8 for 3 or 4 of them at a restaurant. JP

You can also add fried/drained Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage to the cream cheese mixture for the filling!

I got an entirely different spin on ABT. I take a roll of Jimmy Dean hot sausage. I roll it out as thin as possible and lay strips of mild cheddar down, followed by strips of fresh jalapeno` peppers and occasionally I'll add some cream cheese too. Then I roll it into a log and cook on my stick burner with post oak or hickory at about 275 until done. We let them cool a bit and slice across the roll and it looks like sushi rolls.

In BBQ Circles that is known as a fatty and plenty dang delicious.

Got a tray full on the smoker as I type this. Used cream cheese, some with chicken, some with shrimp and some with sausage, all wrapped in bacon. Sipping bourbon while I wait. Should be done about the time the Cowboys game starts. Woo Hoo! Doing some salmon at the same time. Later, ham and pineapple on the smoker.

As a twist, we coat them with Head Country for about the last 15 minutes. Dang skippy they are tasty.
