Tried it for the first time today used buttermilk brought to boil add lemon juice turned off heat let sit I think I squeezed it to much when straining thru cloth it's a tad dry anyone have any tips and or recipes

Kattelyn give it a try I made some more batches and added different herbs to them turned out very good

My mother, grandmother, and my aunts use to hang cottage cheese, in a dish cloth outside, to dry. Don't know what else they did to it, it was creamy and spreadable on bread or crackers.

Haven't tried making my own yet either but would like to make some fresh mozzarella sometime
