I can’t keep this cap tight. Loosens and oil goes every.

Threads are cross threaded, I believe and will not get very tight.

Thanks CADD. I really hate having to take it back to the dealer. I'd just as soon order another tank assembly and do it myself. However, this has been leaking ever since it was new and it has gotten worse... to the point that its creating a huge mess and wasting oil.

I just had one replaced under warranty for the same thing. I never touched it other than to re tighten it.
Well the new one doing the same thing.

Try wrapping a couple layers of good black vinyl tape over the threads.

Try wrapping a couple layers of good black vinyl tape over the threads. Although i thought of that. I wont. I just keep thinking about just a tiny piece pealing off. And going threw the injection system.
