Hello,

This afternoon I hooked up the water muffs to my outboard and ran it. I may have had the water pressure up too high but the last few times i ran it, I didn't remember the water coming out from the location. IS everything gtg or do I have a problem? This is my first boat and im learning(replaced the fuel lines a month ago). Here is the youtube video showing the Mercury 50 horse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sIU_DHdZ54 . You can see the water coming out about halfway through the video, I played with the water pressure and it seemed to stop when turned down. Im hoping this is normal and just a pressure let off feature.

Thanks,

Eric

Looks pretty normal to me, water will come out all over the place (cooling this and that on the motor)

Its around the 33 sec mark that its causing me to be worrisome, looks like it coming out of the seal. it stops pouring out of there when the water hose is turned down.

Perfectly normal. That water hose pressure doesn't even get close to the pressure its under pushing the boat down the lake.
