 1987 boat with original breakers off start battery

This boat will blow breaker setting in the driveway and out on lake. It is the original breaker that came on boat from 1987 not sure amp yet have not pulled it. I guess they can go bad , I have looked for short cannot find one. My question is do those push button breakers lose there specifications with age ?

30 year old breaker on a boat. Im sure its corroded.
