on my ranger my cranking battery has a draw that will run it down after a few days
has any one had problems with the digital switch distribution box pulling power even
when the breaker is off.

Add a battery switch and that will end the draw.

Nothing standard on a Ranger should be drawing power down. There is a tiny draw (in the microamps range) by most outboards, but that would take many many weeks to measurably discharge a battery. The digital switch box won't draw anything if you turn it OFF (press TWICE).

Do you have shallow water anchors? Is there a master switch for them if so? Power Poles definitely draw a little power (for the remote control circuits), even when they eventually go into sleep mode. I don't know about Talons, no experience there. The installation guide for Power Poles explains this, but many get installed without a master switch. Beware that a simple toggle switch is insufficient for the amperage of shallow water anchors. Contact me if you need more info.

You are saying you flipped the main boat breaker(in battery compartment)? I think those are typically 30A. Looking at that breaker, does the side with the battery connection have any other wires on it? Does the battery + terminal have any other wires? If so, THOSE are what is drawing the power. What are they for?

I'm turning off the 30 amp breaker my touch pad has power it lights up and the boat will start my gages will not work (pumps horn fuel) until I
turn the breaker on I ask ranger what's the use of the 30 amp breaker if it does not turn the power off to the control panel my 50 amp breaker
kills the trolling motor. he says some's dealers power it direct I bought it new from ranger in 07 have not changed anything in 3 years and it just
started doing this.

I need an inventory of wires on the + terminal of the battery - with any insight you can give as to what they are. One might be a hydraulic jackplate (if you have one). You already said you don't have shallow water anchors, so those get ruled out.

I suspect that another boat "power" wire was put directly to the battery, but I need to understand more about the boat to insure the solution idea I have will work for you and not hurt anything. It is likely that the power going to the distribution box at the console can also be moved to that 30A breaker. This may solve your problem unless there are yet other wires on the battery.

When you say this didn't happen before, do you mean the battery didn't run down?....or did you mean the dash key lighting didn't work before? If you mean you didn't previously get a dead battery, were you keeping charger connected all the time?

There was a Ranger dead-battery issue I once fixed for a friend that the dealer had been unable to fix. The dealer just kept replacing the battery, and failed to find the problem. This was on a brand new just delivered boat. The issue was a light was on in a compartment. This wasn't noticeable since he was never using the boat in the dark. I traced the current draw and found it. It turned out each lamp in compartments was hot wired and had its own switch on the lamp assembly. One of his was on when it arrived from the factory, and that kept running batteries down. Do you have switches on individual lamp housings in your '07 Ranger?

1 wire from charger
1 wire from 30amp breaker
1 wire going to black box under dash
I got the black and red wire pulled off the black box and the control panel still lights up
and will start I have box lights but they work off a switch on the control panel like a car open the box
and the light comes on but you have to have the switch on the console pushes on. like I said the red and the
black big cables or off the box but there is still connectors hooked to the black box were is the power coming from to light up the control panel.

thank you

do you think my alt could be pulling power from the cranking battery on the lake when I first start the motor
my gage shows 12.3 I have a digital and a gage on the boat both show the same than running across the lake it will move up to 14.i know its charging the battery but should it be 14 when I first start the motor.
