The cranking battery on my 2009 Mercury 150 EFI is getting weak, and I am considering going to an AGM battery as a replacement. I know that some Mercury charging systems are not compatible with AGM batteries. Can anyone tell me if an AGM battery would be a good choice as my next cranking battery? Thanks

Good deal. If running graphs, aerators, recirc pumps all day get a Group 31 ( if you have room) with at least 200 Reserve Capacity. Also as many cranking amps as possible (over 950) & it'll keep you & that Merc happy.
Academy has Exide Group 31 AGM Dual purpose. 1150 Cranking Amps & 200 RC for $269 + tax. Take an old battery in for -$20 for core charge. $249 + tax. Good long lasting batteries.
