Ugly.. If they make the Optimax look like that, I'm done with Merc and going to Yamaha

Looks like they took the verado design and just chopped and squared everything off. I think the verado design looks way better.

Ugly.. If they make the Optimax look like that, I'm done with Merc and going to Yamaha The opti is gone, this is only what will be available in the future, according to a merc guru on another forum. Now I’m sure they have several thousand already built, so it might be years before they are completely gone.

Hopefully the end of April, first of May. The motor will not be available until the first of May.
