I am replacing my prop seals on my Mercury 150XR6 lower unit. In the manual it says to apply loctite to outer part of seal. Seems like it would be hard to remove in the future. Do those who build these, is this what you use? Or do you use a different sealer?

It will not effect the removal in the future.
