I am now running a Michigan Apollo 15-1/4 x 19. I know I need to go to a 17 or 18. Rpms in low 5s with 200 Optimax. Looking at a Power Tech 3 blade or maybe drop pitch and add cup to the Apollo. I was wondering what prop others are running on their CCs.

I know I need a new prop but the question now is a Power Tech worth $100 more than a Michigan Wheel Apollo performance wise? I sent an email to one of the guys at Power Tech asking the same ? but have not got a reply. After running some numbers I am pretty zeroed in on a 15-1/4 x 17.

Thanks Pat. I really do not want to spend money on new prop after buying boat and toys for it but I believe in getting the max out of a motor. I know from experience what the correct prop can do for a boat.
