New Skeeter ZX, 4 bank Minkota charger, 6 mo. old cranking battery. MinnKota charger shows error code of a solid yellow light at 25% and a blinking red on that bank, the book says that it is a damaged battery and will not charge. Yet the battery tests at 12.68 volts and starts the motor and runs all the electronic fine? Should I trust the charger and pull and replace the battery?

Charge the battery for 24 hours, let it rest for 24 hours and then load test it with a resistive tester. harbor Freight sells them cheap. If you have a bad/weak cell, it will show up under a load test, but yu have to let the battery sit for 24 hours so that you are not just measuring a surface charge.

Take the battery to Auto Zone, Wally World etc.. and have it tested with a load on it. Batteries can show a full charge but fail with a load on them!!!!

I would change the charger bank to one of the other batteries.
will tell you if its battery ,or the charger bank
