I have a Nitro Z7 and I'm wanting to install a jackplate. My question is, which one would best suit my boat (ie: 6in, 8.in, 10in, etc)?I'm not really familiar with playing the jackplate "game" and want it to work best once it is done. Like I said, it is a Nitro z7 with a Mercury 150

Steve, What do you charge to install a 6" manual jackplate? '95 Procraft V200DC with a Mariner 200EFI?

standard rapid jack is 275.95
magnum rapid jack is 325.95
150.00 to install and set prop shaft height.

if your a tourny fisherman, i'd go with the magnum. it's all 1/2" metal and
much stronger.

I have a new (itb) 10inch slide master, but have gotten several reports that my boat won't perform right with it so I'm considering trading it for a 6inch or just selling it.

i've tried the 10's on them, and it killed the hole shot and didn't run any
faster on top end.

Thanks steve, If I were closer to you I would have you install a 6in but 4.6 hours is a stretch to drive
