Does anyone know what the purpose of the Starter Stop Plunger does?? This motor will run all day long, but i'm having a heck of a time starting it. A splash of carb cleaner and it fires up no problem. I've noticed the primer bulb no longer gets hard when the pressure is up..

Any suggestions??

I've ordered a new fuel pump and filter ( waiting for them to arrive)
