The rubber washers used where the grab rails mount have rotted away and I need to replace them. Apparently I need to reach the nuts underneath. Looks like I need to remove the side padding in order to do so. How does it come off? I'm afraid to just pull, thinking I may damage something. Only a couple screws that I can see but it is still connected somehow behind the pad. Help!
