Any opinions on the Nitro 911 CDC. Never knew such an arrangement existed till I ran across one on an old Nitro webpage. Sorta makes sense, but so do a lot of things that I've never seen. Just looking for opinions from those who are experienced at that setup, and maybe some legit pros and cons. Solid intel please, no bashing,....the facts will hold their own. Thanks in advance.

Sold a few of them. Layout is pretty cool. 70 mph with 225 Easy to drive handles pretty sluggish good for a noob. There were other center layouts skeeter and gambler made them also.

Thanks Pat. Had a Skeeter DX200 a few years ago, with an Evinrude 200 Vindicator,...traditional dual console layout, and it would get 72mph at 5600 rpm all day long. Fun, solid, lots of deck space and storage, smooth ride even in pretty healthy chop. I sorta compare all other boats to it as far as design, layout and ride, hence my question on the dual center layout. Also, thanks for your input on the 200 Black Max efi in my earlier post.
Are the dual center console boats inherently heavier to compensate for no passenger weight against the gunnel to counter propeller torque? I heard that come up in a discussion, but you know how blogs can get.

No reason for weight to be any difference, one of those seemed like a good idea at the time.
To a new driver, they'd be great, just point and go, nothing will get freaky on you, some of us like a little more sport in our rides, so to me it was just boring. Pretty slow holeshot, little quicker than the nitro 929 with same motor.
