I have a skeeter zx225 that is mostly white. It's an 03, and Thru the years it has gotten oranged by the water. Cleaned it today with a combo of zing acid wash and a mr clean magic eraser and helped a ton, wondering if there's anything that won't burn my skin that might work better. Already wet sanded with 1200 grit and buffed with 3m goopy stuff. Thanks

If you've already acid washed, wet sanded, and buffed, and that did not remove the stain, I thinks its time to get some professional help.

I've had excellent results with Star-Brite Instant Hull Cleaner, but its an acid. I've never had to do more than spay it on with a pump up gallon sprayer and rinse it off a few minutes later,and the hull is as clean as the day it was built.

I use Iron Out, you can buy it at Walmart, works great to remove rust stains.

It is a powder that mixes with water, wipe on with a wash mitt and rinse off after a bit.

Thanks guys, It's pretty white now, but it won't take half a dozen trips to fish shallow and it'll be right back where it was. And yes I wipe it down everytime it goes on the trailer. May need a new clear coat?

Wax or sealer will make it spray off after you get off the lake.

Did a good thorough acid was then a good wax job. Came out good and the wax has made it easier to wipe off the water line at the ramp. The acid wash I had was old and I had to google the instructions. I was doin it wrong... Who'd a thunk it.
