I have 1996 Skeekter zx200 with a 1996 200 mercury. It has a 12in slidemaster jackplate .What would be a good hull to prop shaft height for speed,but also have good hole shot and a good bite in rough water.

Thought Id try an old style 23 tempest with permament exhuast holes.also have 25 trophey with adj holes,25 tempest adj holes,21 mirage adj holes.

With the gear ratio on that old 200 I would start with the 25 tempest with some large hole plugs. 3.5in below pad is always a good starting point when setting up a boat that is unfamiliar to you.
