I will be an Optronics customer for life. Called CS to see if an STL-17RS was the same as an STL-17RB, turns out yes, B was in a kit and S was an individual light. Further into my combo with the rep, he asked what it was on, age and why I needed to replace it. I told him my 2009 boat trailer and that it stopped flashing and brake light stopped working although running light was fine. Then he asked for my name and address and said its under warranty, we'll ship you a new one! Couldn't be happier, and yes I checked continuity with my multimeter, had power to both wires.

Good to hear, I rewired my trailer and used all of their clear LED lights! 3 years and still no problems!
