I have a 96 model 150 Johnson Fast Strike that gets out of hole fine, breaks over but motor starts bogging down at 3200 RPMS. If you push the key in (choke,on a Ranger) the Rpms will come up till the shot of fuel is used up. Compression check shows 90 across all cylinders. Any body got any suggestions on where to start looking. Does it hurt run engine at below 3200 RPMs till I find problem. Thanks for any help you can give.

Agree. Sounds like it is running way lean which is a great way to smoke the motor! Find the fuel starvation and fix it.

Check fuel filter, fuel hoses and fuel pump. Pull the cowling and look for fuel leaks while pumping the bulb.
