My jack plate has stopped working. I replaced the circuit breaker because it was pretty rusted and corroded and it is getting power. I am not sure what the rest of the wires are for so I'm not sure what to check next. All the wires appear to be in good condition. Any advice on where to start before I pay a shop a couple bills to find a simple fix?

Mine turned out to be the wiring harness. Trace the wires and unplug them and touch them straight to the motor. if the motor runs in both directions the problem will be the contacts in those little sealed black boxes. Just make sure the switch at the console is good.... Found my replacement harness at T-H Marine. If is the harness not hard to replace most are plug and play. We just plugged the wrong way the first time it just went down when you hit the up button reversed wires all was good.

Relays or check the plug connector from the relays to the motor.
