I am running a Yamaha VMAX SHO 200 HP on a Skeeter ZX200. I banged up the prop and was thinking about purchasing a second one as a spare. Currently spinning a 23-TI 15 1/8 VMAX SHO prop. The issue is I have hung an extra 23 lbs of equipment on the bow from stock and have noticed a decrease in lift and speed at WOT. Should I consider a different prop for the spare or a different height on the jack plate or both. Please share your experience and advice for this issue...Thanks!

I would give Skeeter a call for recommendations. Will probably need to know your RPM and Water Pressure at WOT along with current motor height below pad.

I have had zero luck in contacting anyone at Skeeter, always get voice mail and never get a call back. I was hoping maybe someone here had some direct experience / advice on this issue. Current RPM is 5950 (which really has not changed with the added weight), I will have to check water pressure. What should the pressure read at WOT?

height is 2 3/4" below pad.

that boat normally runs a 25p prop. if your having an issue with that 23p running with any
good bow lift, it's probably because the 23 needs to have some tip cup put in it. that
will solve most of your issues.
