Can anyone recommend a good, quality shop in N. Texas to replace a weak transom?

It's a pretty expensive repair. There was someone within the last year that found a shop in Oklahoma city that did his at about 1/2 the cost of repairs around here. Was enough of a savings to make the drive worthwhile.

Professional fiberglass is expensive.
Johnny Yes it is, and good fiberglass shops are reluctant to replace transoms due to the time involved. They can do several hull repairs in the same time as one transom replacement.

They did a real good job rebuilding the transom on my dad's center console
