Does the Ultrex come with a heading sensor or is it optional? I already have a Lowrance GPS Point 1 so would I need it or would I have to take my heading sensor off and put the Minn Kota heading sensor on? Thanks for any help.

You will need both because they are two different components. The Point 1 is utilized for your Lowrance graph and the heading sensor for the Ultrex is utilized for its "jog" feature. The point 1 wont work on an ultrex and the minn kota heading sensor wont work with the Lowrance. Two different technologies. Point 1 runs on a nmea system and the minn kota heading sensor runs through bluetooth. Hope that all makes sense. The ultrex will come with a heading sensor.
