yay? Nay?

Just curious as to why they are far less expensive in terms of resale. Saw an 09 stratus with a Merc 250 pro xs for under 25k, comparable boats (length/year/motor) seem to be significantly more.

is it a lack of bells and whistles? Lack of quality?

with the prices of used boats now if its below market value there is generally a reason for it.

I understand that. It just seems, even brand new.. they are far less than some of the other brands out there. Just curious as to why. I'd imagine, if the boat is solid and has a good motor, its a good boat...

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

I owned two Stratos boats for many years each, but they were from the earlier days before they got under the Ranger family umbrella. Both were great boats with no hull issues. The 201 in particular was great for big lakes.
