 Yellow Cap under Mercury Cowl?

I just got back from a fishing trip and I pulled the cowl off my Mercury Pro XS 200 and I found a yellow cap with grease inside loose. Any ideas where it's supposed to go?
I still haven't figured out how to upload pictures to the forums.

Center of flywheel.I have heard of them being sucked up thru the intake and destroying powerhead.I threw mine away.
